Are you a range trader? Do you like knowing when a range is forming, what the upper and lower boundaries are, and when the range is likely over? Here is an indicator that will give you both visual and audible alerts for trading within a range or channel. You configure how to define the range (based on zigzag pivots), when the range is confirmed and tradeable, and how to determine the end of the range. There are audio alerts for range confirmation and exit.

In the first example above, I have defined a range that continues to expand until a breakout bar is encountered. The red bar is the confirmation bar, and the yellow bar terminates the range when it breaks out.

In the second example, you can see that the main range is composed itself of ranges. You can trade the main range and/or the mini-ranges within it by simply modifying a single indicator parameter. Easy!
