ProTradingTools will never sell, share, or barter, yours or anyone else’s trading information to anyone. This is our commitment to protect you and the intellectual property of others. Although our templates are optimized to foster enthusiasm for discovery, some defaults may be intentionally set to keep them bias-free, and so some may not plot anything or everything when initially loaded.

We are not a blackbox solution and consider it beyond our distinctive competency to provide trading education other than what is necessary to understand and operate our tools. It is entirely up to the user to experiment, discover, delegate, optimize, and reap the rewards of their effort. This does not mean we are not eager to accommodate your individual endeavors. We just want you to be aware that our help desk exists as a deployment aid for your ideas rather than a consulting service for strategy design.

There are plenty of resources beyond our forum that teach advanced concepts you can leverage with our tools. We view educational vendors as potential partners rather than competitors and are happy to endorse the ones we feel appropriate. Many resouces are also freely available on the web.


We believe that the degree a trader can truly embrace a strategy with the faith and confidence to still trade it under consecutive losses comes from the trader’s ability to objectively quantify results (Casino Style) both offensively and defensively. Purely subjective approaches are often harmful to many traders, especially newbies, and are typically more difficult to adjust.

We also believe that our trading abilities are totally irrelevant to improving your ability to trade. There are many gurus out there with many lost followers but its not because they do a bad job. Rather, its due to the sheer dynamics of conveyance that must filter through mixed levels of client perception about themselves, experiences, and intuition. Sooner or later, true confidence comes back to taking ownership through vigorous testing. While guru mentors offer many advantages, I can still assure you this:

We also recognize the limitations of not being able to create modules to audit every possibility. However, we are confident that by continuing to develop tools that emphasize and bridge concepts rather than indicators, we and other contributors will eventually fill in the gaps. As the saying goes, sooner or later there will be an App for that and the ones we already have will only improve.
