Web Sites
  • The Technical Take blog is one place I go to get honest technical analysis of the overal economy. Guy Lerner always has insightful and interesting macro analysis.
  • Mish's Global Economic Trend Analysis is another place I go to read expository writings on current events.
  • Zero Hedge is another site I read to get differing opinions on current (mostly finance-related) events. This site seems to have a bearish or at least contrarian point of view. But the article comments are good to read to see what people are thinking.
  • WizeTrade TV produced an interview with Mark Douglas called Mind Over Market. Mark wrote Trading in the Zone, one of my recommended books below. I think your personality and mental skills are much more important to winning than charts and programs.
  • Here's a shameless plug for a couple articles I wrote on How to Trade Stocks and on How to Learn Stock Chart Analysis
  • DailyFX is a place I go for up-to-the-minute Forex commentary, trading signals, FX charts and trading ideas.
  • Investopedia.com is my favorite place to go for investment terms and explanations.
  • For new Forex traders, BabyPips.com has some excellent articles and a 'school' to learn Forex trading.
